Studio Limbo

Italia // Como

2020 // 2024

Studio Limbo, founded in Como by Luca Gandola, Dario Luzzani and Marta Di Donna, is an artistic space dedicated to the promotion of local culture and creative collaboration. Located in Via Benzi 5 , it offers an inclusive environment where established and emerging artists can meet, develop projects and enrich the cultural panorama of the city.

The studio’s initiatives include the Still Laif event , with an open call that led to a successful exhibition in April 2023. Limbo has also hosted weekly meetups every Friday called Caraibi, becoming a hub for creative exchange.

In June 2023, Studio Limbo participated in Lambrock , a local cultural festival in Albese (CO), and in May 2024 took part in Flag Point , a multisensory and interactive project organized by Volario . In collaboration with Luminanda APS , Studio Limbo conducted three workshops on the use of flags as a means of personal expression, helping young people from Como to imagine new perspectives.

In July 2024, Studio Limbo also took part in Arrabbiarte , an artistic-literary walk that explored how art has told the anger of generations, movements and political struggles. In the last year Chiara Ghizzoni joined the Studio Limbo Team becoming its curator and a key figure within the organization.
