THE CASTLE OF CROSSED DESTINES

The Castle of Crossed Destinies is a text of great importance to me, imagining sitting at that table in the castle erected in the middle of a dense forest together with the protagonists of this deck of cards, weaving stories and tales, takes me back to a dreamlike atmosphere where everything seems possible, where any story can develop.

I felt a sense of randomness and disorder, if not even of license, as if it were not a matter of a stately mansion, but of an inn on the way, where people unknown to each other, of different conditions and countries, find themselves living together. for a night and in whose forced promiscuity everyone feels the rules to which he adheres in his own environment loosen, and - as he resigns himself to less comfortable ways of life - so too indulges in freer and different customs
