The Pupo, a human surrogate who embodies the figure of the fearless hero, is here kept in his most natural version, " in paggio ", naked.

Armor is a deception, copper breastplate is thin and malleable, worn and damaged in vital places. The plexiglass armor is deceptive, the transparency shows the fragility of the baby, its history is engraved on it, it is heavy and at the slightest blow it risks breaking completely. The paper that makes up the third armor is the set of sheets and rotten wood, corroded by fire, held together by a splint that risks collapsing at the slightest drop of water.

 

Each armor is made up of plates and prints used over the years, marked by ink and engraved with a steel point and sulfur, modeled for the occasion on the baby himself in which, perhaps unconsciously, artist and spectator can identify with.
